BRIQ SMS

Overview

BRIQ is the Tanzania-focused transactional provider. Configure an approved sender ID and recipient, then verify account access before sending a single approved test.

Setup & requirements

Credentials and delivery acceptance remain blocked. Record provider ID, segments, cost and delivery callbacks separately from handset observation. Unknown outcomes must not trigger blind resends.

Usage & verification

Configure apiKey and senderId; appId is optional for provider calls. Account testing checks credential acceptance. Sending requires an approved recipient and exact message content, with a maximum of three estimated segments. Marketing is disabled.

Record the returned job ID separately from a provider message ID. Read delivery status only for configured message IDs. Signed callbacks must match the configured app and correlate with a known delivery; replayed or stale events are denied. A timeout has an unknown outcome and must not trigger an automatic resend. Live credentials and handset proof remain blocked.
