Overview

Configure only approved page IDs. Read tests do not search the whole workspace. Writes require an explicit integration scope and permitted page. Every call uses the common policy and audit layer.

Setup & requirements

Credential identity was checked; an approved page read is still required before claiming the connection works for your workspace.

Usage & verification

Grant the Notion integration access to one approved page and configure its page ID. Use pages.read with that exact pageId. includeContent optionally fetches up to 20 blocks and 16 KiB of text; file URLs and unrelated workspace objects are excluded.

A 403 or 404 requires checking the page share and configured ID. Do not use a workspace-wide search as a workaround. pages.append additionally requires a writable page allowlist and explicit integration scope. Identity acceptance alone does not prove page access.
