VPS migration
Overview
Provision isolated MailRaft services and secret storage on the destination. Restore encrypted backups into a non-sending environment and check migration identities, RLS, tenant counts and configuration before DNS changes.
Setup & requirements
Never copy unrelated VPS projects. Keep old services and DNS rollback values until verified cutover. Off-host restore and migration acceptance remain unverified.
Usage & verification
Before cutover verify an isolated restore, schema checksums, encryption-key access and tenant isolation. Check OAuth origins and public routing against the actual new deployment. Preserve a tested rollback target and DNS values. Off-host restoration remains a launch gate, not a completed procedure.
